How can I build a family with solid measures of trust, commitment and communication?
How can I approach parenting during the teen years with hope and confidence - despite the overwhelming influence of our culture?
What, specifically, can I do to guide my adopted child to a healthy maturity?
If you’re looking to make changes in your parenting approach or want something different for your family, then this opportunity for family or relationship coaching is for you. In this partnership, we will work together to create authentic connections and fulfillment in being a whole and healthy family. It’s appropriate to make the distinction between therapy or counseling and coaching. Coaching is not therapy or counseling. The key to coaching is the results that are co-created for the family. Together, we focus on actions, plans and possibilities.
Mary's inspiration for family coaching came from her own experience (as an adoptee and as an adoptive parent). She and her husband had the opportunity to be coached through a very chaotic and challenging time in their lives. It proved to be an incredible family-strengthening experience. Their family dynamics improved, communication opened up and our relationships continue today to be meaningful. It is from this experience and the subsequent training she received that brought her to this place of expertise in creating workshops and coaching practices that support family growth. She now is dedicated to sharing that wealth of experience with you.
